Move-out cleaning: your handover checklist
Plan rooms, extras and dates clearly.
Before requesting a quote
Note room count, area and condition. Include windows, blinds, balcony and cellar so the scope can be discussed clearly.
Prepare the property
Schedule cleaning after moving out. Remove personal belongings and arrange access, keys and parking.
Document the scope
Ask for kitchens, appliance interiors, sanitary areas, windows and additional spaces to be stated explicitly in the offer. Discuss difficult access beforehand.
Coordinate the handover
Share the cleaning and handover dates. If you want an acceptance guarantee, agree its scope, attendance and any re-cleaning in writing.
